I am a joint PhD student of Yingcai Wu @State Key Lab of CAD & CG College of Computer Science, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, and Jonathan ZHU @Department of Media and Communication, CityU University, Hong Kong, China
My main research interests include
1. Computational Social Science
Describe distributions or test causal relations of variables in social phenomena using computational methods, e.g., text mining, user log data, online experiment, and machine learning models.
2. Information Visualization
Test whether a visualization technique, e.g., a line or bar chart, improves the efficiency of data analysis or undermines the accuracy of data analysis. Design a new visualization technique that can help people analyze data.
3. Domain Knowledge Graph Construction for Evaluating Scientific Knowledge
Automatically extract or manually collect knowledge in a scientific domain and build a knowledge graph to obtain insights into the existing knowledge.
